How to upload a PDF file

Add a PDF file for viewers to download and view. This works great for Curriculum Vitae (CV) or presentation documents.

Add up to twenty (20) files as 'assets'–like Adobe Acrobat PDFs or custom JavaScript files–to your site through the Site File Uploader. They can be up to 20MB in size.

It is not possible to upload a PDF and have it viewable in a Gallery Page or Custom Page like a normal JPG image.


Access the Code Editor

From your Dashboard, click 'Design' > 'Code Editor'

You will be presented with the Warning below:

Read and click 'Continue Anyway' to proceed to the Advanced Code Editor and the Site File Uploader.


Upload your file/s

Click on the 'User Stylesheet CSS' dropdown menu and scroll to the very bottom of this list.

You can upload up to 20 files, either PDFs, images or JavaScript files. File sizes can be up to 20MB.


Select File to Upload

Click "+ Upload File" to select the file

  1. Click "Copy Link" to copy the path to your newly uploaded file to the clipboard.

  2. Clicking the 'X' will delete the Site File DO NOT CLICK THIS!

Exit the Advanced Editor

  1. Scroll back up to the top of the list

  2. Click 'Return to Editor' and 'Close

  1.  'Close' Code Editor


Add copied link to page

Go to the Page where you want your PDF to be downloaded from.

Add or edit the text so that it is personalized to you.

  1. Select the portion of text you want to use as the link.

  2. Click the 'link icon'.

  3. The 'Create a Link' popup dialogue box will appear, select 'Website'

  4. Paste your PDF link in the URL field

  5. Select 'Open in new window'

  6. Click 'Create' or 'Cancel' to exit

Save Changes.

Preview and test on your Live Site.
