0:00 Hi there, my name is Dora, I'm a Format expert and this video is to show you how to add a hyperlink to a piece of text within a Custom Page.

0:11 To get started, you will need to go to the Pages editor located here in the left side toolbar and create a Custom Page.

0:18 Once you created a Custom Page and have added some text to it, you can hyperlink that text by selecting the line of text you want to hyperlink.

0:30 After that, you will see a toolbar popping up on your screen. From that toolbar, you will see a few formatting options for your text.

0:40 If you want to hyperlink the text, you will need to click on the links symbol over here. After which, within this pop-up window, you can see the three options to hyperlink your text with.

0:52 You can add a link to an internal page, so an already existing page on your Format site. You can add a link to an external page (Website), like a video or maybe a third party website.

1:06 Or you can add a link to your email so that when you are linked mine to an already existing page for my site, such as the About page.

1:24 If you tap create, the link will then apply to that piece of text. You can then press the Save Changes button and you are ready to go.

1:34 If you have any questions about this or anything else, please do feel free to reach out to us by a chat.

1:40 The chat icon is located here in the lower right hand side corner or via email at info@format.com and we'd be happy to help.
