How to adjust Client Gallery Visibility (and password), Favoriting, Downloading and Notification settings

These Settings are specific for every Client Gallery. Options include page visibility, favoriting, downloading and email notifications.

Client Galleries list view

  1. From the left sidebar navigate to Workflow > Client Galleries

  2. Client Gallery selected

  3. Click '' to activate the menu

  4. Click 'Edit Settings'


Client Gallery Visibility

  1. Page Visibility dropdown

  2. Private

  3. Enter a password

  4. 'Save Changes'

Page Visibility

Online

This page will be live and accessible to anyone. Can be indexed by search engines and appear in their results (may take over a week for the page to be indexed). Please see our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guide

Private

This page will be accessible only to those with the password. This will prevent the page from being indexed by search engine crawlers

Offline

This page will be inaccessible and visible only to you (from within your Format account). Removes the page from your site menu (if it had previously been IN MENU)


Favoriting, Downloading and Notifications

  1. Scroll down to see more Settings

  2. Favoriting. Give clients the option to mark selected images with a star

  3. Downloading. Disable, Allow full size or Allow restricted size image downloading

  4. Notifications. Disable, Email daily summary or Email about every client interaction as it happens.

  2. Set the size (in pixels) that you want the longest side to be scaled to (useful when providing a low resolution placeholder with a Watermark)

Activity Reporting for Favoriting and Downloads

Viewers must enter their email address to view a Client Gallery if favoriting and downloading options have been enabled. This allows you to track favorited and dlownloaded images in the 'Activity' pane.


Activity overview

  1. Navigate to the 'Activity' pane

  2. Favorited image and number of times

  3. Downloaded image and number of times

  4. Filter by Email Address (default is All Clients)
