Q: Will I still have access to my current Visual Society Account?
A: Absolutely! You will still have access to your account and be able to manage your work.
Q: I know I still have access, but will my site change at all?
A: No! It will remain exactly the same.
Q: What happens when my subscription ends, or is up for renewal?
A: You will still be able to renew your existing subscription, with no changes.
Q: Why is Marketplace temporarily unavailable?
A: We are revamping Marketplace and launching a new marketing campaign in May that will drive more customers to the site and to view your work. We will be actively handling the marketing, so you don’t have to.
Q: How do I get featured in the new Marketplace?
A: You have the option to turn on, or turn off, your submissions to Marketplace. If you opt-in to Marketplace, your items will be automatically sent for review and curation by our team of experts. They will carefully examine and select the items that will be featured.
Q: Will payouts be different under Format?
A: The payouts will now come directly from a Format Paypal Account. We are working to optimize this process in the future to make it easier to receive your funds.
Q: Will new Visual Society Accounts and Trials be accepted moving forward?
A: Unfortunately we will not be accepting new Accounts or Trials moving forward. New accounts are available through our Format Portfolio in May. To learn more about Portfolio click here.
Q: Will all of the existing functionality still exist on the new site?
A: The Format team is working hard to ensure most of the existing functionality is still available to use through our larger product offering. However, there are some small changes. The ‘Directory’ page will be taken offline (for the foreseeable future).
