Video overview

The screenshots in this article cover 'Collections' but also apply to 'Gallery Pages' and 'Custom Pages'.

Page Visibility

Pages created will not appear in your Site Menu automatically.

The 'Visibility' will be shown as 'Online' by default. There are three visibility 'states' possible: Online, Private and Offline.

Click to activate the dropdown menu and change the page's visibility.

  1. Online: (default)

  2. This page will be live and accessible to anyone.

This page can be indexed by search engines and appear in their results (may take over a week for the page to be indexed). Please see our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guide.

  1. Private: this page will be accessible only to those with the password.

  2. Select and enter a password (always shown here).

If visibility is set to Private this will prevent the page from being indexed by search engine crawlers, which may affect your SEO performance.

  1. Offline: this page will be inaccessible and visible only to you.

Changing the visibility to Offline will remove this page from your site menu. It will not be indexed for SEO.

Accessing Page Visibility via the Settings Panel

All page types can also have the Page Visibility changed via the Settings panel for that page.

  1. Click 'Settings' to access all Settings for this page, including Page Visibility

  2. Quicker way of changing the Page Visibility as covered above

  1. Settings panel now active

  2. Click to activate Page Visibility dropdown

  3. Options of Online, Private, or Offline

  4. Click 'Save Changes'
