Renaming Pages

Changing your page's name (Page Title) also updates how it appears in the Site Menu

Renaming a Page from the Pages Editor

1. From the left sidebar, navigate to 'Portfolio' and click 'Pages'

2. Hover over the right side of the current Page Title until the '…' icon appears, then click to open the dropdown menu

3. Click 'Rename'

2. Edit the Page Name (in this screenshot it is for a Gallery Page)

3. Edit the Page URL: the unique address of this page, an error will be shown if it matches an existing page. This should always be typed in lowercase with a hyphen between words

4. Click 'Update'

Rename from within a Page

You can also rename pages from within their page editors.

1. Click on the Page Name to edit

2. Edit the Page Name (in this screenshot it is for a Custom Page)

3. Edit the Page URL, the unique address of this page, an error will be shown if it matches an existing page

4. You can also access this and more under the 'Settings' link

5. Click 'Update'

Rename from the Page Settings area

1. Access the 'Settings' pane

2. Edit the 'Title'

3. Edit the Page 'URL'

4. You will be prompted to 'Save Changes' before leaving this area
