Ideas on how to limit visibility of your site while preparing for general viewing.
Our sites are automatically 'live' with the Format Address (site address, it looks like https://blytheelder.format.com) provided with your subscription. Although many people will not navigate to your site before you promote, or link to a personalized domain name, you may want to set the site to Private while working on it.
An easy way to do this is to create an "Under Construction" Title Page. Please see our Creating an ‘Under Construction’ page guide.
You can also set the Page Visibility of all your site pages individually to require a Password or to be fully Offline to make them inaccessible on the live site. Please see our Page Visibility guide for more information.
A third option would be to set a Site Wide Password.
