How to directly upload Hosted Video from your own devices

Pro and Pro Plus members can upload video direct from their devices to Custom Pages

Pro members can upload a total of 15 minutes of video.

Pro Plus members can upload a total of 120 minutes of video.

• Supported video file types are .mp4, and .mov (Apple QuickTime)

• Each video has a maximum file size of 2GB

• Maximum upload resolution of 5120px x 5120px

• 20min duration

• 60fps frame rate

• The video file will be processed for optimal playback on your site after upload.

• Maximum video playback is 1920x1080p

If the video you have attempted to upload is not accepted, please convert to .mp4 or .mov with a different compression level (QuickTime Player can export and convert to .H264 files).

Add Hosted Video Section

From within a Custom Page > Add Section

1. Select Media

2. See Hosted Video (from your device)

3. Click for full-width video

4. Click for centered video with text included (also available with the remaining section options below)

5. Embedded Video needs to be hosted with Vimeo or YouTube

1. Click 'Upload Video' to add your own video

1. Drag & drop a video file or Upload Video from your device

2. Import from Format (if video has already been added to another page already)

3. Import from Dropbox

Video files up to 2GB in size can be uploaded.

Unsupported Video file type

If your video is not in a .mov or .mp4 file format you could use a tool like the Apple QuickTime Player (or other video conversion tool) to Export the clip as a .mov file and try uploading.

1. In QuickTime Player go to the File Menu

2. Select 'Export As'

3. Select the video resolution to export as

1. Ensure filename extension includes .mov (when exporting from QuickTime Player) and do not include any unusual symbols or characters in the filename (only use a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and _ characters)

2. If you have the option, select 'Greater Compatibility (H.264)'

3. Click 'Save' and try re-uploading

1. Notification that video is being processed and will appear on your site when it is complete.

• Once you have uploaded your video it has to be processed for playing at various sizes (desktop/mobile/tablet).

• Video processing times may vary between minutes to hours (usually is shorter for videos under 300 MB)

Edit Video

1. Once uploaded, tap the video thumbnail for the styling ribbon bar to appear above

2. Change Video

3. Edit Thumbnail (add a PNG or JPG image)

4. Customize Design, color, fonts, size and auto-play options

5. Always 'Save Changes'

1. Select 'Custom'

2. Click 'Upload Custom Thumbnail' to replace

3. Apply

4. Close window without changing

Customize Design

Every hosted video has individual design options that can be styled, these include:

1. Player Base Color, Player Text and Icon Color, Player Accent Color, Player Text Font, Fit Portrait Videos to Screen, Auto-Play, Mute Video and Loop Video

1. Auto Play enabled

2. Mute Video enabled as some browsers will not autoplay if video is not muted

3. Loop Video enabled (optional)
