You can set any text as a link to an email address, which can be clicked to open an email application on your device.
Select Text to Link

Select Text (usually it would be the actual email address), and a mini-toolbar will appear above

Click 'Link'
Link to Mailto

Mailto selected

Type your email address

Click 'Create'

Link shows in a light blue color and is underlined in the text editor

You can style how text links will appear in the Design > Typography > Advanced > Text Link View All > area
