Guest checkout (no PayPal account required for purchase)

Buyers may not have, or want a PayPal account to complete a purchase from your Format Store, you can allow Guest Checkout via PayPal

To enable Guest Checkout in your Format Store (bypassing the need to have a PayPal account you need to change a preference within your PayPal Business Account settings.

PayPal Business Account Settings

  1. In your PayPal Business Account click on your name in the top-right corner to access the dropdown options

  2. Click 'Account Settings'

  3. From the left sidebar under PRODUCTS & SERVICES click 'Website payments'

  4. To the right of 'Website preferences' click the 'Update' text link

Enable Guest Checkout

  1. Scroll down

  2. To the PayPa account optional

  3. Select 'On'
